NOTD & KOTD: It's hot & Bornprettystore.com review

Hello everybody!

Because today the weather in Bucharest was extremely hot for this time of year, I decided to show you a bright red color to go along with this weather.

But before, I want to share my opinion on image plate M65 which I received for review from Bornprettystore.com. 

 

The image plate was covered with a blue plastic foil which I removed before I started stamping. 

(The image plate looks dirty, but actually that is from my acetone...)

Again, I didn't use a special stamping polish when I tried it, because I wanted you to see how it works with a normal polish.

I stamped with Flormar 413. 

As you can see the designs are great, they stamp really well (even with a non-stamping polish).

The patterns are large enough to fit to my thumb nail.

Because I liked the roses pattern from image plate M65, I used Essence stampy polish in black to stamp it on my nails. 

And here is an picture of my right hand (which it's pretty hard to photograph!).

Review: M64 Image plate from Bornprettystore

Hello everybody! 

How was your week? 

I've been to the seaside for the last 5 days and I just got back home.

Here, an envelope was waiting for me...

Let me show you what was inside:

This is an image plate from Bornprettystore, which they sent me for review. 

The image plate has a thin layer of plastic foil, which you can easily remove.

As you can see, the design is a perfect replica of M64 image plate from Konad. (it also has the same number)

The plate has the same dimensions as a Konad image plate and the designs are the same size. (I removed the plastic film from the plate)

I stamped each design using Flormar - 413 ( I wanted to use a normal polish, not a special stamping polish, just to show you that it works great)

  

The designs are very easy to stamp, they are clear and complete.

This is a good, cheap alternative to the original image plate.

NOTD & KOTD: Desert Haze & Flormar 413

Hello everybody!

Here is a mani you can easily wear at work, a nice nude color: ELF - Desert Haze. 

 Because I wanted to bring something more to this mani, I added a design from BM16 using Flormar 413.

I want to show you the exact same combination of colors, but a different design I did for one of my friends. (image plate M73)

Review OPI - Sand in my suit

I am sorry but I don't have time to translate this review...

In primul rand as vrea sa ii multumesc Cameliei pentru organizarea giveaway-ului :)

Imediat cum am primit oja, nu m-am putut abtine sa nu o incerc.

Cateva cuvinte despre produs:

Sand in my Suit face parte din colectia South Beach Collection, lansata de OPI in primavara/vara 2009. Din descrierea oficiala a produsului: Sand in my suit este o oja de culoare nude care promite ca se intinde mai repede, uniform si ofera o aplicare fina, fara dungi.

Parerea mea:
Caut de mult o oja nude care sa fie destul de opaca si care sa mi se potriveasca (am pielea destul de inchisa la culoare si nu mi se potriveste orice nuanta deschisa) si pot spune acum ca am gasit-o.

La o prima aplicare, am fost putin dezamagita. Oja se intinde cu dungi, nu este suficient de opaca pentru gustul meu. S-a uscat repede si nu a trebuit sa curat deloc in jurul unghiilor.



Dupa ce am aplicat al doilea strat, mi-am mai revenit. Nu se mai vad dungile, oja este opaca asa cum imi doream. Si acum s-a uscat relative repede (cateva min), un mare plus pentru ca de obicei nu am rabdare sa stau prea mult sa astept dupa oja. Mentionez ca nu am avut ce sa curat in jurul unghiilor, aplicarea este perfecta.



Este o culoare care imi place, are un fin “sclipici” argintiu, care sincer cred ca scoate nuanta din monotonia unei oje nude simpla. Se poate purta cu success la birou, facultate, scoala etc.


Iata si cateva modele care au ca baza Sand in my suit. Oja cu care am stampilat modelul este Flormar nr. 413, pe care o puteti vedea aici. Mi se pare ca seamana foarte mult cu OPI – You don’t know Jacques sau cu Chanel – 505 Particulière.

KOTD: Sand in my suit & M56

The polish I won on Camelia's blog arrived today and, although I was in a hurry I couldn't resist the temptation to quickly do my nails.
This is the result. I will do a complete review next week.
